Cookies we use

Hearted stories (optional). If you leave this on, we set a first-party cookie that remembers stories you heart on this browser. Turning it off clears that cookie.

Return visits (optional). If you leave this on, a first-party cookie stores the days you open hastur on this browser. When you are signed in as a member, those days are saved with your account so we can see whether people come back. Turning it off clears the cookie on this browser and stops new days from being saved. Days already stored with your account stay, so early-access stats remain accurate.

Sign-in session. When you log in, a separate session cookie keeps your account signed in. That is required for the product to work and is not used for ads.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics beacons for ads.
